Friday Night Live at Mizner Park Amphitheater
The short answer
Free Friday-evening concerts on the lawn at Mizner Park Amphitheater, 590 Plaza Real in downtown Boca Raton. Bring a blanket, park free at City Hall or the Downtown Library, and check the city's amphitheater calendar for the band and start time before you go.
What is Friday Night Live at Mizner Park Amphitheater?
Mizner Park Amphitheater is the City of Boca Raton's open-air concert venue in the middle of Mizner Park, the long green park with a fountain, shops and restaurants on Federal Highway just north of Palmetto Park Road. The amphitheater, colonnade and concert green hold about 4,200 people. It opened in November 2002, and the city took over ownership and operations in October 2010.
Our calendar lists a free Friday-evening show on the lawn most weeks. The city runs its own free concert programs here, most visibly Summer in the City, a series of free tribute concerts on select Fridays from June to August, plus holiday events such as the Holiday Tree Lighting in November. Lineups, start times and which Fridays have a show change through the year, so treat each date on this page as a reminder to check the city's amphitheater calendar.
When it happens
Showings on our calendar are Friday evenings, usually listed at 7 PM. For the city's 2026 Summer in the City series, doors opened at 7 PM and most concerts started at 8 PM.
City shows go on rain or shine. Some Fridays have no free show because the amphitheater is booked for a ticketed concert or a private event.

Parking and getting there
Free parking: the City Hall lot at 201 W. Palmetto Park Road and the Downtown Library lot, both a short walk away. The city asks concertgoers to walk, bike, carpool or use these lots.
Metered street parking and paid valet are available in Mizner Park. On concert nights there is paid preferred parking next to the amphitheater.
Tips before you go
- Arrive when doors open if you want a spot near the stage; seating on the lawn is first come, first served.
- Bring a blanket or a low chair. At city summer concerts, outside food, drinks and pets were not allowed, so plan to eat at a Mizner Park restaurant before the show.
- The Boca Raton Museum of Art is across the park at 501 Plaza Real and stays open until 8 PM on Thursdays, not Fridays.
